Focus RS. AWD. 600hp 3.5 Ecoboost. C'mon Ford. It doesn't have to be a production car. It can be a concept. You can make one! YOU CAN MAKE OOOOOONE!

And make Ken Block do a Gymkhana with it.

It seems that only euro brands make these one-off mid-engined super hatches.
But Ford is really utilizing it's European roots, so maybe

Is there enough room for the 3.5 in a Focus? Especially with AWD. May have to get creative with the packaging.

IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE MIDENGINED, THO! People were cramming Eco/Dura/Whatevertec V6s under Focus hoods in the last gen, so you know one would fit!

They are making one but it'll probably have the 2.3 from the mustang

Is the 3.5 longitudinal or transversal? It matters

unless it was in the back, too heavy. I say stick with 2.3LT but boost and boost some more! I bet it could do 400+ easy. Give it AWD with rear wheel bias. carbon fiber body work that bitch up and drop the noise reduction insulation, lightweight carbon wheels, and other weight saving measure. fuck yeah, I'm hard just thinking about it! also 7 spd manual and tons of aero bits.

It doesn't need to be the one from the GT. Hennessey was able to get another 100HP out of the 3.5 in the SHO. You know Ford could get more!

Won't be the first Focus to have a big motor that didn't belong there in it...

No, only this would be acceptable

You could buy this conversion kit from Ford Racing lol.

Hennessy sucks ass with the SHO, go to Livernous Motorsports for some real power...

Hahahahahaha that would be a riot! But 600hp on the front wheels?!
Needs AWD! Then, no one will buy the Mustang :D

3.5 ecoboost? no thanks. 2.3 tarbo? Yes please! May bait me into trading my STi!
3.5 ecoboost seems like there would be too much weight up front.

Or how about something much more doable:
- Ecoboost 3.5 in the Mustang
- Ecoboost 3.5 in an AWD Fusion RS
- Ecoboost 2.7 in an AWD Fusion ST
- Any Ecoboost V6 in anything under 3500 (or at least 4000) pounds
